1. The ultraviolet is also abbreviated UV
The electromagnetic wave length is 100nm~380nm, the ultraviolet wave is belong to the electromagnetic wave with the length of 200~280nm. It has the function of disinfection.
2. Ultraviolet disinfection
After absorbing the ultraviolet energy, the germ plasma (nucleic acid) of the pathogenic microorganism will mutate which cause the cell stop abruption and reproduction.
3. UV Intensity
The ultraviolet capability when the ultraviolet ray radiates the area which is upright to the ultraviolet ray at unit time. The unit is mW/cm2.
4. UV transmittance

8. UV dose-response curve
It reflects the relationship between microorganism¡¯s life-and-death or disinfector degree and the received UV dose. The disinfector degree is shown log10(N) or log10(N/N0), the N0 means the microorganism¡¯s content before irradiating by UV, N means the microorganism¡¯s content after irradiating.

Mercury vapour lamp works at the inner pressure of 0.13Pa~1.33Pa, the input power is 0.5W/cm, the output power is about 0.2W/cm.The UV can be exported by the monochromatic spectrum at the length of 253.7nm.
10. Low pressure high output lamp
Mercury vapour lamp works at the inner pressure of 0.13Pa~1.33Pa, the input power is 1.5W/cm, the output power is about 0.6W/cm.The UV can be exported by the monochromatic spectrum at the length of 253.7nm.
11. Medium pressure lamp
Mercury vapour lamp works at the inner pressure of 0.13Pa~1.33Pa, the input power is 50W to 150W, the output power is 7.5W to 23W.The UV can be exported during the chromatic spectrum at the length of 200NM~280NMnm.
12. New ultraviolet lamp
The ultraviolet lamp which runs 100hours at the first time and the function is steady by testing.
13. CLH lamp aging factor
The output power proportion between the old UV lamp (it will be used up) and the new UV lamp.
14. CJG lamp fouling factor
The UV penetrated rate between the using UV lamp and the new clean UV lamp.
15. Operation life of UV lamp
It means the UV lamp¡¯s continuous or accumulative effective running time.
16. UV disinfector
The utensil includes the UV light and other parts. The disinfector is composed of UV lamp, quartz bushing, bllast, UV intensity sensor, cleaning system and other parts which are inlaid in the utensil.
17. UV modules
It takes the open channel as the UV ray¡¯s cavity. The UV modules is composed of UV lamp, quartz bushing, ballast, UV intensity sensor, cleaning system and other parts which are inlaid in the utensil.
